Part 4: Mopping Up
Within days of landing, the space invaders
had acquired status by rolling their way to the top of the food
chain, and ceased to encounter resistance. It was necessary,
however, to gather up the overwhelmed humans now littering the
landscape in paralyzed catatonia.
Being a somewhat neat species, and averse to rotting organisms
drawing flies and unemployed social workers, the aliens released
the Hoover droids which made quick work of the refuse.
However, the aliens were now confronted with heaps of useless
humans bereft of purpose and were forced to devise a method of
disposal........
