Part 2: Terraforming

The space invaders were an aqueous species, and, knowing that the invasion would take place, centered within a huge continental mass, bereft of large, water bearing basins, brought along their own ocean, in which to swim, surf, fish, plus sandy beaches to play on.
The North Dakotans immediately saw the advantages of this new topographical invention and set about developing a shipping industry which heretofore had been confined to floating beer coolers.
